Test different Swift models and see how they feel by comparison. A great way to understand the subtleties of design and how they feel in practice.
THEORY vs REALITY
Validate how each boat actually "feels" to you. Everyone's experience is their own. The spec sheet only takes you so far. One person's "stable" is another person's "tippy"!

Join Bill Swift and the ALTO team for a fun, relaxed paddle on one of our favorite local flatwater routes.

Meet and park at Second Pond

ALTO will shuttle boats and participants to South Creek put in. View Map
Route: Middle to Lower Saranac Lake
Put in: South Creek
Take out: Second Pond
~8 miles / 4 hours
$20 per person
All proceeds go to Adk Loon Center
What to bring
Comfortable clothes and footwear you don't mind getting wet, sun and bug protection, drinks and lunch. We'll provide boats, paddles and PFD's.
