No. All our boat/board rentals are per calendar day.  However, our rates are still very competitive in the area.

There are 3 options for getting rental boats/boards to the water: We can carry boats/boards right across the street and put them into Lake Flower You can transport on your vehicle (we provide tie down equipment and show you how.  One boat/board per car unless you have a rack suitable for more) We can transport for you.  Shuttle fees vary depending on distance.

Yes and there is a 10% discount for 5+ days or 5+ boats/boards.

Rental life vests, paddles and tie down equipment (if needed) are all included in the rental price.  We also loan you a waterproof map if you are doing one of our self-guided trips.

A tandem recreational canoe is our most popular choice for families. They are wide, stable and have plenty of room for young children to sit in the middle. We can provide chairs for them and a junior paddle so they can try it our for themselves. We provide child-sized PFDs and can recommend a suitable, sheltered route suited to your family. Older children who want to paddle their own boat can rent our kids kayak.

The quickest. and easiest option for getting on the water is to paddle out onto Lake Flower from our store.  Our rental boats and boards are user friendly and we'll give you some tips and a map to help get you started.  Lower Saranac Lake is also another popular destination nearby once you are ready for a little more adventure.  You could also book a guided trip and have one of our experienced guides introduce you to the awesome world of paddling!​ Use our Trip Finder to view our full trip offerings. Online booking is available for the rental of Canoes, Kayaks and SUP's.  You can paddle straight out onto Lake Flower or transport on your vehicle.   For everything else please call, email or drop by. ​ Only 1 boat or 2 SUP's can be transported on a vehicle unless you have a rack suitable for more ​

We begin renting in May once the water has warmed up a little. Peak season is July & August with the warmest weather and longest days. We recommend booking in advance during peak season to avoid disappointment. Spring and fall offer quieter waterways, cooler temperatures and stunning foliage in autumn. Summer is great but our favorite time to paddle is on nice shoulder season days when it's much quieter.

We sure do! We can deliver canoes, kayaks and standup paddleboards to properties in our area. PFD's and paddles are included. Enjoy using them at your leisure during your vacation and we'll pick them up when you leave. Easy! Contact us to arrange a vacation rental delivery reservation.

No. Tie-down equipment and advice is included with every rental. We use foam blocks, cam straps and bow and stern lines to secure boats and boards onto your car roof. You need to be comfortable doing this with your vehicle and confident about lifting the equipment on and off but it's quite straightforward and many customers do this. Lightweight boats are obviously easier to load on and off vehicles.
