Swift Weekender Demo Day

Paddling season is now and we're delighted to host a Swift Canoe & Kayak demo session with Bill Swift!

Bill will be at Adirondack Lakes & Trails Outfitters on Saturday, May 30th from 10am - 3pm for an on-water demo event. Don't miss this great opportunity to try some of the best paddling, most beautiful canoes and kayaks on the water!

If there are particular models you're interested in trying, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Swift Weekender Community Paddle 2026

$20 per person

Join Bill Swift and the ALTO team for a fun, relaxed paddle on one of our favorite local routes. Want to do the trip in the Swift boat of your dreams? Let us know ahead of time and we can arrange for you to paddle any model in the range.

All proceeds go to Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation

Willard Hanmer Race

An important part of Adirondack heritage, the Willard Hanmer Guideboat and Canoe race (The Hanmer) first ran in 1962 as a tribute to the famous Saranac Lake, NY Guideboat builder, Willard J. Hanmer.

Adirondack Canoe Classic (90 Miler)

September 11th-13th, 2026

8am start

Old Forge, NY

$200 per racer

Presented by the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, the 90 Miler takes place over three days in September, takes paddlers from Old Forge, NY, to Saranac Lake, NY, the first 90 miles of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail.
