At 17'7" and just 22" wide, the GTS is the narrower, more performance-oriented sibling in the Solstice family. The soft-chine, shallow-arch hull accelerates quickly, holds speed well, and tracks with precision — rewarding a strong forward stroke on open crossings, big lakes, and coastal tours. Progressive edging feels smooth and predictable, with solid initial stability that builds confidently into secondary.

The keyhole cockpit fits small to average-sized paddlers securely with integrated thigh braces for controlled edging and rolling. Sealed bow and stern hatches handle multi-day gear loads easily. Full perimeter lines, recessed deck fittings, and hidden rudder lines keep the deck clean and snag-free. Rudder included.

A rare one-of-a-kind development hull from Necky's design program — the legendary Looksha Sport built in a carbon/kevlar composite layup that never reached production.

The Looksha Sport is one of the most celebrated short touring kayaks ever made: 14'4", high rocker, exceptional secondary stability, fast enough to cover real miles yet responsive enough to spin on a dime on edge. This prototype delivers all of that at approximately 32 lbs — a fraction of the weight of the production polyethylene version.
