Escape

$3,495

MSRP $4,214

LATE MODEL

The Escape is a shorter version of the popular Minnesota II, with similar lines and the increased maneuverability that comes along with a shorter canoe. Our medium sized performance tandem, it's a very versatile craft. The Escape is a sleek performance canoe that will paddle well on streams and rivers, as well as larger lakes. It has fair depth and width to hold plenty of gear, while its flared bow and extra depth at bow and stern keeps you dry in the choppiest waters. If you love the speed and glide of the Minnesota II but are looking for a canoe that's easier to manage on brushy portages and twisty streams the Escape is the one to choose.

This late model 2025 is in as-new condition.

Wee Lassie 11.6

$2,199

MSRP $2,500

LATE MODEL

This Wee Lassie 11.6 is a handcrafted cedar canoe built locally in the tradition of fine small-boat making. It is the kind of craft you simply can't find on a showroom floor. Its design traces back to the 1880s Adirondacks, where legendary builder J. Henry Rushton created the original Wee Lassie as a light, elegant solo canoe meant for quiet exploration. Bent Cat Boats carries that spirit forward, shaping each boat by hand from beautiful cedar into something that's as much a work of art as it is a vessel. Light enough for one person to carry to the water's edge, it's at home on lazy rivers, hidden coves, and still lakes. The kind of places you only reach when your boat doesn't weigh you down. If you've ever wanted a canoe with a story behind it, built by someone who cares deeply about the craft, this is it.

This boat was built in 2025 and is in excellent condition.

Gus

$200

-

EX-RENTAL

The Gus is a displacement-hull creek boat designed by Johnnie Kern, positioned as a larger, faster creeker suited for big water, big drops, and big feet. It combines the maneuverability of shorter creek boats with a nod to the longer, speedier designs of an earlier era. Notable design features include resurfacing contours that channel water across the bow for smooth flat resurfacing, "The Groove" for increased maneuverability and edge acceleration, a reinforced bow, a Cargo-Load seat for easy gear access, and a roomy cockpit accommodating larger paddlers.

It's a displacement hull (not planing), which gives it good speed and predictability in big water but makes it less playful than modern planing-hull creekers. Paddlers who've run it alongside more modern designs note it's fast, agile, stable, and sheds water exceptionally well — making for strong resurfacing and hole-punching. The Gus is a discontinued model.

The model has had heavy use. Price reflects this.

Looksha IV

$600

CONSIGNMENT

One of the most respected all-around touring kayaks ever produced — stable enough for newer paddlers, capable enough that experienced ones won't outgrow it.

The double-chine hull delivers composite-like rigidity in a polyethylene package, with a small wetted surface, strong primary stability, and exceptional secondary stability that inspires confidence on edge and in rough water. The rockered hull and planing characteristics make it surprisingly nimble for a 17-footer — equally at home in rock gardens and surf as on open-water crossings.

Sealed bow and stern compartments with a dual-layer hatch system (neoprene inner, hard polymer outer) keep gear dry on multi-day trips. Recessed deck fittings prevent snagging during rescues and re-entries. Deployable rudder included. Hull is rotomolded Superlinear Polymer — tough, impact-resistant, and built to last.

A proven expedition workhorse that handles everything from afternoon paddles to loaded coastal touring.

Solstice GTS

$1,100

MSRP $3,545

CONSIGNMENT

A longtime benchmark in North American touring kayak design, the Solstice GTS is built for paddlers who want speed, efficiency, and expedition capability in a sporty, snug-fitting package.

At 17'7" and just 22" wide, the GTS is the narrower, more performance-oriented sibling in the Solstice family. The soft-chine, shallow-arch hull accelerates quickly, holds speed well, and tracks with precision — rewarding a strong forward stroke on open crossings, big lakes, and coastal tours. Progressive edging feels smooth and predictable, with solid initial stability that builds confidently into secondary.

The keyhole cockpit fits small to average-sized paddlers securely with integrated thigh braces for controlled edging and rolling. Sealed bow and stern hatches handle multi-day gear loads easily. Full perimeter lines, recessed deck fittings, and hidden rudder lines keep the deck clean and snag-free. Rudder included.
