This is a really fun trip that takes you through truly diverse paddling environments. Starting in a quiet pond, through narrow channels, into the open waters of Osgood Pond and then venturing down the scenic river until you can paddle no further. Maneuvering your boat in tight waterways, dealing (briefly) with often windy conditions on the pond and the overall distance covered make this trip more suitable for experienced paddlers.
Distance: ~10 miles Difficulty: Challenging - some experience needed Type: Out and back Duration: Half day or full day Cost: from $365 (see Pricing below) |

The Seven Carries is an iconic and historic paddling route with a lot to offer experienced paddlers. You'll pass by grand Adirondack camps on Spitfire and Upper St Regis Lakes and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the smaller and unique ponds as you traverse the route. Navigation skills are a must and there are reasonably long carries so lightweight boats are highly recommended.
This is a good trip to do with one of our guides but also suitable for experienced, self-guided paddlers too. Truly a trip you'll never forget. Distance: ~9 miles Difficulty: Challenging - some experience needed Type: Point A to B Duration: typically 6+ hours Cost: from $530 (see Pricing below) |
