LOWER SARANAC LAKE (to AmperSand bay)
Lower Saranac Lake is our most popular local paddling destination and for good reason. The easy accessibility, stunning scenery and beautiful islands to explore make this a fabulous choice for a paddling trip. The trip to Ampersand Bay passes through the picturesque islands and makes for a very memorable half day guided trip that you will never forget. A good trip for the entire family with plenty of potential for exploring, swimming and picnics etc.
On this trip we offer Instruc-tour. This is a great option for less experienced paddlers to get an introduction to paddling and get comfortable on the water before continuing on alone and completing the trip. Your guide will join you for the initial part of the trip to provide you with information about the equipment as well as pointers on safety, paddling technique and the route you will be taking (map also provided).

Difficulty: Moderate, some open water.
Duration: Half day (4 hours)
Costs: Total cost = boat rental + guide and transport costs
On this trip we offer Instruc-tour. SECOND POND (to LAKE FLOWER)
Setting out from the Second Pond boat launch this guided trip takes you down the Saranac River, through the Lower Locks, across Oseetah Lake and finally back to our Store on Lake Flower in the village of Saranac Lake. You will enjoy cruising down the peaceful river and then have fun tackling the manually operated Locks. Once through, the spectacular mountain views open up as you cross Oseetah Lake and make your way through to your destination on Lake Flower.

MIDDLE AND LOWER SARANAC LAKE
Spend the day on one of the most beautiful waterways in the Adirondacks. Starting on Middle Saranac Lake you'll enjoy large sandy beaches and open views. Then travel down the Saranac River and through hand-operated locks into Lower Saranac Lake where open views and island hopping await you. A great way to spend the entire day on the water.

STONEY CREEK PONDS & THE RAQUETTE RIVER
The Raquette River offers a gentle flow that can be paddled both directions with ease. The Raquette wanders through hardwood forest bordered by the Western High Peaks Area and is a suitable option for both half-day and full-day paddling trips.

ST. REGIS CANOE AREA - SEVEN CARRIES ROUTE
The Saint Regis Canoe Area offers some of the Adirondack's most notable canoe routes. Considered a classic, Seven Carries has short portage trails connecting small ponds and takes paddlers into the Adirondack backcountry where they're sure to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Northern Forest.
